I went to a wedding over the weekend and thought I'd post this for all those who seek but haven't found their soul-mate or those who have given up the search all together.
An Answered Prayer
Two Trails; winding and well worn
Two Travelers; wary and withdrawn
Broken Dreams
Broken Promises
Broken Spirits
Cautious and Cocooned,
with no thought of a butterfly
Single minded
Two Trails intersect
Two Travelers interact
A polite “hello”
A “thank you, no”
Then, “maybe so”
Two Trails converge
Two Travelers emerge
as one
Hope Restored
Dreams Reborn
Love Resurrected
Thank God
